Join Butterfly Conservation NI in partnership with Lagan Valley Regional Park for an introduction to surveying for butterflies.
In this workshop we will cover basic butterfly identification of species you would expect to see in the Lagan Valley / Greater Belfast area as well as the different types of butterfly walks and surveys you can get involved with.
The day will consist of a short presentation approx 1 hour max followed by time for Q and A and a short walk around an existing butterfly walk at Lagan Meadows Nature Reserve. Approx 1 hour.
Tea, coffee and refreshments included. Lunch is not provided.
Please wear suitable outdoor footwear and clothing.
