The towpath is a scenic part of the Lagan and Lough National Cycle Network Route 9 and forms a sustainable transport link between the cities of Lisburn and Belfast. Whether you arecommuting to work or out with the family the towpath is a readily accessible routecombining thequiet tranquillity of the riverside and the freedom from traffic.
The route through the Lagan Valley is a mixed use path and cyclistsmust give way to pedestrians along this section and use a bell to warn others of their approach.
