The River Lagan forms the spine of this wonderful corridor connecting wildlife and people; here you can explore and enjoy the patchwork of award winning Parks, Demesnes, woodland and meadows. Discover the rich heritage from the Lagan Navigation to the early Stone Age settlers.
The towpath forms a shared path between the cities of Belfast and Lisburn. All visitors are welcome to this jewel in the crown of both councils, for which we all share responsibility. Our vision is a park which offers a thriving, diverse and valued riverside heritage that welcomes exploration, learning and enjoyment whilst ensuring a sustainable environment for all. With your help we can realise this vision.
2022 Visitor Survey
Lagan Valley Regional Park representatives will be out and about over the coming months asking for your feedback visiting the area. If you wish to participate a questionnaire can be downloaded and returned to us by email or dropped into our office.
