Its purpose is presented in relation to the development of Laganscape, with particular aims of improving access, increasing the enjoyment and appreciation of the Regional Park and involving people. Laganscape - Landscape Strategy Report (PDF, 177K) The Landscape Strategy outlines the unique characteristics of the Lagan Valley Regional Park. This report offers a summary of Laganscape in terms of the management involved and an overview of the schemes being delivered. Laganscape - Bird Conservation Progress Report 2010 (PDF, 47.6K) As part of Laganscape's Bird Conservation project the RSPB is providing advice and assistance with this program, under contract. This report covers the work carried out in May – August 2010. Lagan Valley Regional Park - Countryside Recreational Strategy, 2005 (PDF, 589K) This document sets out a Countryside Recreation Strategy for Lagan Valley Regional Park. It outlines the current position for a range of activites which take place throughout the Regional Park. This report has been commissioned by LVRP in association with the Countryside Access & Activities Network (CAAN).
Lagan Valley Regional Park Ltd - Articles of Association (PDF, 90K) The Articles of Association state when meetings of the company will be held and proceedings of the meetings. They also state the voting rights of members, number of trustees and the powers of the trustees. The Articles also include the procedures for appointing and retirement of members and trustees. Lagan Valley Regional Park - User Survey 2009 Report (PDF, 1.08MB) This user survey was undertaken by Lagan Valley Regional Park in order to determine the users who frequent the towpath, how far they have travelled and reasons for their visits. This is a follow up to the surveys undertaken in 1998, 2001 and 2006. Volunteer Policy 2011 (PDF, 147K) This policy sets out the broad principles for volunteer involvement with Lagan Valley Regional Park. It is of relevance to everyone concerned with recruiting, supporting, developing amd managing volunteers and promoting volunteer activity. Volunteer Code of Practice (PDF, 93K) This policy outlines how we expect volunteers to conduct themselves and details a number of guidelines we hope volunteers will adhere to whilst volunteering with us. Volunteer dealing with problems procedure (PDF, 80K) This policy sets out the procedure for dealing with any problems that may arise whilst volunteering with LVRP. Volunteer Diversity Policy (PDF, 79K) This policy outlines our commitment to providing volunteer opportunities in an organisation that is non-discriminatory and that welcomes diversity. Volunteer Incident Reporting Policy (PDF, 132K) This policy addresses the health and safety of volunteers while they are working and outlines the procedures they must follow if they become injured. Volunteer IT Policy (PDF, 116K) This policy outlines LVRP's IT practice and acceptable internet/email use.
