Events Programme

Lagan Valley Regional Park is delighted to provide a range of events throughout the year.

You can now view all of the 2012 events on the calendar.

Further, in order that we can more effectively manage our events all events must be booked.

Discovery mornings

Discovery Mornings are essentially a seasonal walk with one of the Regional Park’s rangers. Throughout the year the walks take a number of differing routes offering new and interesting aspects of our wildlife to lookout for.

Dates for Discovery Mornings are as follows:

Winter - Friday February 3rd

Spring - Friday May 4th

Points to bear in mind

We welcome everyone on our events but please bear these important points in mind:

• All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
• Suitable clothing and footwear must be worn, sturdy boots, warm clothes or waterproofs depending on conditions
• Dogs are not permitted on events involving a minibus or where they are likely to affect livestock and should be kept under control on other events
• Some parts of the walks may be step or difficult
• You are advised to wear a safety helmet on cycle tours
